GENERAL DOCK

VENTURE COMPANY DESIGNATION: The designation is given to a small-to medium-sized company that ventures into a new market by turning a new idea into business, and taking on high operating risks expecting a higher return in the event of success. In Korea, a Venture Company is defined according to 「Special Act re. Raising Venture Companies」 Article 2, where it is referenced to the regulation per 「Basic Laws for Small-to Medium-sized Companies」 Article 2.

ISO QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CERTIFICATION: The Certification refers to international standards for quality management systems as assigned by ISO (International Standardization Organization). A quality system standard for products and services, the system is varied per standard and target. The ISO 9000 Certification that General Dock Co. acquired is a quality guarantee system over the entire production process beginning with product design to manufacturing, installation, and service.

EUROPEAN SAFETY STANDARDS(CE MARK) CERTIFICATION: CE stands for Communaut' European (French), indicating the European Community (European Union). The CE MARK indicates that the product meets the requirements per European standards related to safety, health, environment, and consumer protection. In order to be distributed in markets within the EC, products manufactured outside of the European Community must have the CE Mark attached.

PRODUCT PERFOMANCE EVALUATION CERTIFICATE (KOREA TESTING LABORATORY): Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL) is Korea's only comprehensive evaluationg institution that conducts assessments on safety and performances of industrial equipmenet, detailed testing analysis over parts, products and systems on production sites, and credibility evaluations.

PRACTICAL INNOVATION REGISTRATION (Reg. No 0234986): Products can be registered an a Practical Innovation only if they are technological creations using physical laws that did not exist before or improved previous models, and are designs of products over shapes, structures, or combinations that can be used in the industry. The rights are effective upon registration with the patent office.

JOINING PRODUCT LIABILITY(PL) COMPENSATION INSURANCE: The product Liability (PL) regulation implemented in over 30 countries worldwide has been implemented in korea beginning july 200. Korea's Product Liability regulation promotes the rights of victims by holding the manufacturers financially accountable for loss of life, injuries, or property damages due to defects in products according to the no-fault responsibility principles, and contributes to the safety of Korea's citizens and healthy economic development while improving the awareness on product safety to encourage improvements in our corporations' competitiveness. As such, this regulation can be considered a reguulation to protect our customers' rights and safety. Following the implementation of PL regulation, General Dock Inc. has been actively informing our customers about issues to watch out upon using our company's products and emergency care items, and has given our best efforts to provide better products and service.
